Find trainees with the European Law Students Association Student Trainee Exchange Programme (STEP) is one of the core activities of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA). It enables law students (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate) and young lawyers to gain practical knowledge in foreign countries in Europe and throughout the world. Traineeships can last 2 – 78 weeks, and the employer can select which criteria the students should fulfil. In Europe, the local ELSA groups take care of the accommodation and other practical arrangements of the trainee. Through the STEP Newsletter the traineeships are promoted among our 30,000 members and other law students at the 200 faculties where ELSA is present throughout Europe. In return the employer will gain a perfect candidate for an internship. Would you like to be a part of the program?
