Meeting Policies
Fees & Registration
Registration Requirements
All registrants for the virtual portion for the 2022 Annual Meeting Live + (Meeting) must be registered. This registration only entitles you to participate in the virtual Meeting. If you wish to convert your registration to an in-person registration, please contact INTA Member Operations. No conversion of virtual registrations will be processed onsite.
Bulk Discounts
Corporate registrants (Regular, Small-Medium Sized Enterprises, Non-Profit [Regular], University) are eligible for bulk discounts. For every three fully paid registrations for the virtual Meeting, the fourth registration for the virtual Meeting is complimentary.
Associate registrants (Associate and Non-Profit Associate) are eligible for bulk discounts. For every five fully paid registrations for the virtual Meeting, the sixth registration for the virtual Meeting is complimentary. Complimentary registrations obtained through the bulk discounts for the virtual Meeting cannot be used for the in-person Meeting.
While bulk discounts are not available to Academic, Individual Associate, and Transitional Members, please see our tuition assistance policy below. All registrations obtained through our tuition assistance policy for the virtual Meeting can only be applied for our virtual Meeting.
Committee Meetings
All committee meetings will be conducted in person. Therefore, you must be registered for the in-person Annual Meeting to attend your committee meeting. Those who register for the virtual Meeting will benefit from a post-committee meeting with INTA leadership in the virtual platform.
Payment
Payment for the virtual Meeting is by credit card only and through our online registration system. Therefore, all payment is due upon registration.
Member & Non-member Registration Rates
To enjoy the member registration rate for the virtual Meeting, your organization must already be a member in good standing for 2022 at the time of registration.
If your organization chooses not to renew its membership and proceeds with your meeting registration, you will pay the non-member rate. However, the difference between the member and non-member registration rate will not be refunded if your organization renews for the 2022 membership year after you have registered for the Annual Meeting.
Tuition Assistance
Tuition assistance for the virtual Meeting is available to eligible practitioners who have a total individual income of less than US $35,000 a year or who are currently unemployed. Proper documentation will be required. For more information or to request an application, please contact us.
Cancellations, Refunds, & Substitutions
Cancellations
If we are prevented from carrying out our obligations as it pertains to the virtual Meeting as a result of any cause beyond our control, or such virtual Meeting cannot be virtually conducted because of a software issue or issue with the hosting platform or due to acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, government requisitions, restrictions or war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, curtailment or restriction on transportation facilities, or any other comparable calamity, casualty or condition (collectively a “Force Majeure”) we have the right to terminate the affected virtual Meeting immediately without liability. Accordingly, we shall be relieved of our obligations to you. If the affected virtual Meeting is terminated due to a Force Majeure occurrence before the first day of the virtual Meeting, you may only seek a refund of the virtual Meeting registration fees. In this situation, no cancellation fee will be applied.
Refunds
For consideration of a refund outside of the Cancellation scenario discussed above, submit your Refund Request Form to our Member Operations Team, stating in detail the reason for the refund request and including copies of relevant supporting documents for the reasons for the refund request.
Full refunds for the registration fee paid will be issued only if a cancellation request is received by Friday, April 1, 2022, 11:59 pm United States Eastern Time.
No cancellation requests will be accepted, and no refunds will be given beyond Friday, April 1.
Substitutions
Your registration for the virtual portion of the Meeting is transferable to another person employed by your organizational umbrella. To facilitate the substitution process, please submit your Substitution Request Form to our Member Operations Team, stating in detail the reason for the substitution and the person attending in your place.
All substitution requests must be submitted by Friday, April 22, 2022, 11:59 pm United States Eastern Time.

For the best experience, we highly recommend using:
- A laptop or desktop computer, not a mobile or tablet device
- A high-speed Internet connection
- An up-to-date Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser
Access
Persons registered for the virtual portion of this Meeting and those registered for the in-person Meeting will have access to the virtual Meeting platform and events associated with the virtual Meeting platform.
Limited attendance offerings within the virtual Meeting platform will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
You will receive an email before the event with information about accessing and navigating the virtual Meeting platform. We recommend that registrants utilize the in-platform help desk for assistance if needed. Please note that you are still responsible for payment if you do not access the virtual Meeting. We will not be obligated to refund your registration fee in this instance.
Costs Associated with Access
Any costs associated with your virtual meeting attendance shall be borne solely by you, and we shall have no liability for such expenses.
Confidentiality of Access Credentials
Access credentials are unique and should not be shared. The virtual Meeting platform is digitally secured. Anyone discovered sharing login-in information might be subject to sanctions, up to and including blocking access to the 2022 Annual Meeting Live+ and revocation of your organization’s membership.
Use of the Virtual Meeting Registrant Member Directory and Other Networking Tools including INTAConnect, INTA’s AI-empowered appointment, and networking tool
During registration, you are given the option to share your information in INTAconnect, INTA’s AI-empowered appointment, and networking tool. In addition, the Annual Meeting registrant directory is accessible to all registrants (opt-ins only).
Our policy is that all information in our Member Directory and INTAconnect are entrusted to registrants only for personal use. The use of this information for any other purpose, such as unsolicited electronic communication, is expressly prohibited. The same applies to the unauthorized sale or distribution of information obtained from the Membership Directory and INTAconnect. Violation of this policy may subject the member to sanctions up to and including revocation of your organization’s membership.
Use of Likeness
By participating in the virtual Meeting, you acknowledge and agree to grant us the right at the virtual Meeting to record, film, live stream, photograph, or capture your likeness in any media now available or hereafter developed and to distribute, broadcast, use, or otherwise globally to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to INTA includes the right to edit such media, use the media alone or together with other information, and allow others to use or disseminate the media. All media becomes the property of INTA.
Virtual Meeting Content
You acknowledge and agree that INTA, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to change aspects of the virtual Meeting, including but not limited to the virtual Meeting name, themes, content, program, speakers, hosts, moderators, venue, and time.
Selected virtual Meeting content shall be recorded by INTA and accessible to virtual Meeting registrants until Friday, August 5, 2022.
Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability
We give no warranties regarding any aspect of the virtual Meeting or any materials related to it or offered at the virtual Meeting and disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, and merchantability. The virtual Meeting is provided on an “as-is” basis. The views, opinions, and positions expressed by the speakers, registrants, or sponsors at the virtual Meeting are theirs alone. They do not necessarily reflect the views, opinions, or parts of INTA or any employee thereof. We make no representations as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, suitability, or validity of any information presented by speakers, registrants, or sponsors at the virtual Meeting and will not be liable for any errors, omissions, or delays in this information or any losses, injuries, or damages arising from its display or use. We do not endorse and expressly disclaim all liability relating to any of the products or services provided by speakers, registrants, or sponsors.
Except as required by law, neither INTA nor its affiliates shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential costs, damages, or losses arising directly or indirectly from the virtual Meeting or other aspect related to it or in connection with this virtual Meeting.
The maximum aggregate liability of INTA for any claim in any way connected with, or arising from, the virtual Meeting, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise (including any negligent act or omission), shall be limited to the amount paid by you to us for this virtual Meeting.

Privacy Notice to Registrants
We collect personal information to enable your event registration, including your name, address, email address, and other contact details. This information may be shared with select third parties that perform services for INTA in connection with this event, including database management services, sponsors, and networking tools, when applicable. In addition, all Annual Meeting registrant information will be passed through to the virtual Meeting platform. The registrant information includes Record ID from our Membership Database, Preferred Name / First Name, Last Name, Registrant Email, Organization Name and Organization contact details, and your reserved limited attendance sessions.
If you visit our Brand Marketplace within the virtual Meeting platform, your information may be captured by sponsors and handled following their policies and terms. Visiting may be construed as consent to receive marketing and communications from that specific sponsor in the future. Subsequently, you may receive marketing materials from a sponsor; you can contact the specific sponsor asking to unsubscribe from the marketing at any time (e.g., by following the unsubscribe instructions in their emails).
Respecting Our Event and Intellectual Property
Onsite events in DC
Virtual Meeting registrants should not be hosting or attending events in DC. Therefore, INTA requests all in-person Annual Meeting registrants to require their event guests to wear INTA-issued badges.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in and to the virtual Meeting, the virtual Meeting content, and all materials distributed at or connected with the virtual Meeting are owned by INTA or the virtual Meeting sponsors or speakers presenting at the virtual Meeting. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the virtual Meeting, in any virtual Meeting content, or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the virtual Meeting for any reason without our prior written permission.
