Cancellations
If we are prevented from carrying out our obligations as it pertains to the virtual Meeting as a result of any cause beyond our control, or such virtual Meeting cannot be virtually conducted because of a software issue or issue with the hosting platform or due to acts of God, strikes, labor disputes, government requisitions, restrictions or war or apparent act of war, terrorism, disaster, civil disorder, epidemic or pandemic, curtailment or restriction on transportation facilities, or any other comparable calamity, casualty or condition (collectively a “Force Majeure”) we have the right to terminate the affected virtual Meeting immediately without liability and shall be relieved of our obligations to you. If the affected virtual Meeting is terminated due to a Force Majeure occurrence before the first day of the virtual Meeting, you may seek a refund. We make no representations as to accuracy, completeness, timeliness, suitability, or validity of any information presented by speakers, registrants, or sponsors at the virtual Meeting and will not be liable for any errors, omissions, or delays in this information or any losses, injuries, or damages arising from its display or use. Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy.
Privacy Notice to Registrants
We collect personal information to enable your event registration, including your name, address, email address, and other contact details. This information may be shared with select third parties that perform services for INTA in connection with this event, including database management services, sponsors, and networking tools, when applicable.
All virtual Meeting registrant information will be passed through to the virtual Meeting platform. If you visit our Brand Marketplace within the virtual Meeting platform, your information may be captured by sponsors and handled following their policies and terms. Visiting may be construed as consent to receive marketing and communications from that specific sponsor in the future. Respecting Our Event & Intellectual Property
Plan Your Own Event Policy
Although you are registered for the virtual Meeting, we appreciate that you may plan your own event in your location.
Please ensure that your event does not conflict with INTA-hosted events. If you plan to host a reception, client party, secure a hospitality suite for meetings, etc., we ask that you inform us in advance by contacting Tricia Montero.
In the review and any subsequent approval of such requests, INTA is not responsible for the event. Your organization will be fully liable and responsible for all matters concerning your event, including making all payments, having adequate insurance coverage, ensuring appropriate behavior from guests, ensuring your guests’ health and safety, and meeting contractual obligations with third parties that support your event.
When promoting your event via email, we ask that you refrain from using “INTA” or “International Trademark Association” in a way that suggests that INTA is an official sponsor of your event. For example, we ask that you:
- Not use INTA or International Trademark Association in an email subject line unless the subject line also makes clear the name of the organization sponsoring the event.
- Not use INTA as part of an RSVP or other email address.
- Not use INTA in the name of a party or event (for example, please do not call your event “INTA Reception”).
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in and to the virtual Meeting, the virtual Meeting content, and all materials distributed at or connected with the virtual Meeting are owned by INTA or the virtual Meeting sponsors or speakers presenting at the virtual Meeting. You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks or other trade names appearing at the virtual Meeting, in any virtual Meeting content, or in any materials distributed at or in connection with the virtual Meeting for any reason without our prior written permission.
