In-Person Mini-Conference—New York
November 16, 2021
2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+ | New York, New York, USA
Join us in New York City on November 15 and November 16, for our in-person New York mini-conference—one of the “+” components of our 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+.
We are excited to invite all 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+ Mini-Conference—New York registrants to a special Welcome Reception on Monday, November 15, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, signaling the start of the “+” portion of our 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+. Take this incredible opportunity to join INTA President Tiki Dare, INTA CEO, Etienne Sanz de Acedo, along with distinguished members of the INTA Board, to welcome everyone back in person to New York!
On November 16, we’ll focus on brands from a business perspective and provide strategies to help you stay ahead of trends and changes in our field and give you opportunities to share best practices.
Brands are the cornerstone of business—a company’s calling card to consumers, a primary asset for valuation and loans, and a reflection of what a company stands for.
Today, more than ever, consumers expect the brands they support to reflect their values—whether it’s taking a stand on social or political issues, embedding sustainable practices in their business, being an inclusive organization, or even staying out of the fray. Navigating what brands mean to consumers and how to counsel business teams to ensure that actions and messaging are aligned is central to the role of the brand legal practitioner. Positive interaction, intersection, and collaboration are core to a brand’s success.
This reception and mini-conference provides an opportunity not only to learn from speakers, but also to reconnect with colleagues and develop new connections as we enjoy this time together.
Due to social distancing requirements, onsite events will have limited attendance.

Hear firsthand from brand practitioners as to what to do—and what you may not want to do—as you support your brand teams, corporate affairs, and communications teams in their efforts. Learn watchouts and best practices as you continue the journey of being a resource for your brand teams and enhance your own sustainability IQ along the way.
