Health & Safety Policies
Updated: March 13, 2023
Your health and safety are important to us. Our health and safety precautions are as follows:
- Vaccination Requirement—We no longer require proof of vaccination for in-person attendance. All international travelers are required to comply with the entry requirements into the United States as prescribed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. If our events are held outside of the United States, INTA will comply with the health and safety requirements of our host city.
- Social Distancing—Social distancing will be determined based on health and safety guidelines in our host venues during our events.
- Protective Measures—We will work with all our host venues to ensure standard and reasonable protective measures in our event areas.
- Masks—Mask mandates will be determined based on health and safety guidelines in our host city and venues at the time of the event.
- Limited Attendance—For capacity limitations in and around the event venue, we will follow local and facility recommendations and health and safety guidelines during our events.
- Communications—We will have regular communication with all event registrants about health and safety guidelines.
All registrants must adhere to all health and safety guidelines and policies implemented by INTA, our partners, and our hosts throughout our event.
Registrant Duty to Self-Monitor
Registrants agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath). Registrants understand and acknowledge that at every instance they join an in-person event, they are affirming that they are not experiencing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.
Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Claims
We institute health and safety precautions consistent with the WHO guidance, local governmental agencies, health authorities, and best practices recommended by event venue management. However, despite our good faith efforts to establish and implement health and safety guidelines to minimize exposure to COVID-19, we cannot guarantee against potential exposure to and spread of COVID-19 at our event. By voluntarily registering and participating, our registrants understand, acknowledge, and assume the risk of potential exposure to COVID-19 (including its variants) at our in-person events.
By registering for our event, you are releasing INTA, its staff, exhibitors, sponsors, vendor partners, employees, and/or other event registrants from all claims, demands, damages, costs, or liabilities (collectively “claims”) arising from or relating to your use of any sponsored items or giveaways by sponsors and/or exhibitors, participation, attendance or other involvement with our events, including, without limitation, any claims related to exposure to, infection with, or spread of covid-19 (including its variants). You agree to forego all rights to sue INTA and its vendor partners for any reason related to or arising from your participation, attendance, or other involvement with our INTA events, including, without limitation, any claims related to exposure to, infection with, or spread of covid-19 (including its variants), and assume all risks associated with your attendance. This waiver, assumption of the risk, and release of liability shall be construed broadly to provide a release and waiver to the maximum extent permissible under applicable law.
Incorporation by Reference
All the terms of the in-person Event Policies (unless otherwise specified herein) are incorporated by reference here and shall be deemed to have the same force and effect as outlined in full in this policy.
As the health and safety guidelines related to COVID-19 (and its variants) are continually developing globally, our health and safety precautions are subject to change, and we reserve the right to do so. We will inform registrants of our health and safety precautions changes.
