The International Trademark Association Opens Registration for its 2025 Annual Meeting in San Diego, California
Published: January 15, 2025
New York, New York—January 15, 2025—The International Trademark Association (INTA) opened registration for its 147th Annual Meeting, taking place in San Diego, California, from May 17 to 21, 2025. The INTA Annual Meeting is the largest annual global gathering of intellectual property (IP) professionals.
“We have received close to 1,900 pre-registrations and anticipate more than 10,000 brand experts, IP professionals, and government officials to join us in San Diego,” said 2025 INTA President Elisabeth Stewart Bradley (Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, USA). “The Annual Meeting provides an exemplary forum for our diverse and forward-thinking community to exchange ideas, best practices, and discuss the future of IP, and this year will certainly continue the tradition. I look forward to welcoming everyone to ‘America’s Finest City’ in May.”
The 2025 Annual Meeting Project Team has developed an exceptional educational program centered on “The Business of IP,” featuring three dynamic tracks: Business and Technology, Law and Policy, and Professional Development and Career Advancement. This year’s program also includes two new programming series. The first is dedicated programming on patents for IP professionals, delving into the latest patent developments, strategies, and case studies. The second is an “In-House Series” with seven dedicated educational sessions curated by in-house practitioners for in-house practitioners.
“This year’s three specialized tracks allow registrants to hone in on the topics that interest them most and cater to their business and professional needs and meeting goals,” said 2025 Annual Meeting Co-Chair Okan Can (Deris, Türkiye). “We encourage registrants to add the educational sessions to their schedules early and then fit your various meetings around those sessions. This way you don’t miss out on the education.”
The educational program is complemented by a variety of Business Development opportunities, including more than 550 Table Topics, immersive excursions around San Diego, speed networking sessions, receptions, charity events, workshops, idea exchanges, INTA’s Open Innovation Challenge, and more.
The INTA Annual Meeting is returning to San Diego, California, just ten years since the Association held its 137th Annual Meeting there. The city’s blend of business innovation and beautiful landscapes make it the perfect site to host the Meeting and a favorite among Annual Meeting registrants.
“I am excited to welcome our global community to San Diego,” added 2025 Annual Meeting Co-Chair Jill Abasto (Qualcomm Incorporated, USA). “I am sure that registrants will enjoy my home city’s world class conference facilities; warm hospitality; exceptional dining and hospitality options; and vibrant, entrepreneurial spirit!”
