Networking Opportunities at the 2020 Annual Meeting & Leadership Meeting
We’re offering a wide range of live networking experiences to help you connect to registrants around the world.
These sessions require a one-hour time commitment to participate. Please note that you are limited to choose 2 of each type of networking that requires pre-registration for the duration of the meeting.
For example, you can pre-register for two Speed Networking sessions and two Table Topics of your choice. However, if you choose more than two, our Member Operations team will contact you, and will ask that you select your top choices. To avoid this back and forth and the possibility of missing out on your top choice—pick 2!
We strongly encourage you to approach this virtual meeting as you would an in-person meeting. Develop a strategy and coordinate with your colleagues to ensure you do not overlap your choices. To get the most out of the networking opportunities and to avoid sitting next to your colleagues, please work internally to develop a strategy and coordinate with your colleagues to ensure you do not overlap your choices. We’ll do our best to audit and avoid this type of overlap, but this coordination is the registrant’s responsibility.
Spacing is limited. If you are unable to join a session, please cancel ahead of time.

INTAconnect
Watch this short video demonstration and see how INTAconnect works.
Business Hubs
Business Hubs are an important component of the Annual Meeting, offering members the opportunity to conduct business with their partners and vendors. We are pleased to announce that we will be having Virtual Business Hubs available for the duration of the Meeting.
As part of INTAconnect, our virtual appointment system, Virtual Business Hubs will allow law firms to have a page describing their services and list all registrants from their firm attending the meeting. They will be able to schedule meetings with between 2 and 50 registrants in this space and can control their own schedule by time zone and duration. Not only will this help with organizing their appointments, but will provide increased exposure in INTAconnect.
Corporate Meet-Ups
We’re pleased to announce that we will be offering Corporate Meet-Up sessions—exclusive to brand owners. This is a new way to meet and interact with your global in-house counterparts in an informal and relaxed setting.
Sessions will be moderated one-hour video meetings with 12 brand owners and will not be recorded. We are offering sessions at times convenient for many time zones to facilitate more global networking opportunities.
Available: Monday, November 9 through November 20 at various times
Table Topics
A perennial favorite, Table Topics provide a unique opportunity to meet global colleagues in small group settings and discuss topics of interest. This year we are offering several different types of Table Topics including subjects that correlate to the different Education tracks.
- General Table Topics: Table Topics featuring a variety of subjects that relate to our different track offerings
- Corporate Table Topics: Corporate Member-moderated Table Topics
- IPO Table Topics: IPO-moderated Table Topics
- Mandarin Table Topics: Table Topics conducted in Mandarin and available on the day focused on China. These Table Topics will be held on Wednesday, November 18 at 11:15am China Standard Time
Table Topics will be moderated one-hour video sessions and will not be recorded. We are offering them from November 9–20, 2020 at 11:00 am and 6:00 pm (EDT) on most days.
Speed Networking
Another popular offering, Speed Networking sessions help you make global business connections and revitalize former contacts to support your business continuity. With fun questions to “break the ice” and great conversations that follow, you won’t believe it when the hour is up!
Sessions will be moderated video meetings with up to 12 participants and will not be recorded. We are offering sessions at times convenient for many time zones to help you expand your network and develop new business relationships. All participants are encouraged to visit the appointment system after Speed Networking to connect with their group members and continue their conversations.
Available: Monday, November 9 through November 20 at various times.
Virtual Corporate Meeting Spaces
Corporate meetings are an important component of our in-person meetings that allow members to conduct business with their outside counsel, partners, and vendors.
We are offering complimentary virtual meeting spaces from November 9–20. Having these expanded dates on the front end of the meeting will allow corporate members to hold their meetings early and avoid overlap during the education and networking portions of the meeting.
Social Networking
Learn a new skill, get a great workout, or refine your palate. Our social networking opportunities provide a range of engaging activities to enjoy, while making connections with colleagues from around the world.
Grand Finale: DJ Dance Party
Get ready to dance! Join our virtual Grand Finale to conclude our 2020 Annual Meeting and Leadership Meeting.
Enjoy a curated list of tracks in this interactive “dance in your living room” experience. Song requests are highly encouraged, but cutting loose is mandatory. Pre-registration required.
