INTA Publishes New Edition of China Bulletin

The latest edition of the China Bulletin is now available and includes articles on committee-generated reports on hot topics and legislative and case law developments from around the world.
The China Bulletin is a quarterly publication in Mandarin providing insight into the Association’s advocacy work, educational events, legal resources, and other activities. It also includes in-depth feature articles and Law & Practice updates covering notable case law and legislative developments and trends from around the globe.
Articles in the China Bulletin come primarily from the INTA Bulletin. The INTA Bulletins—China Bulletin Subcommittee selects, translates, and prepares the articles for publication.
News items in the June 2020 edition include coverage of three committee-generated reports: (1) the Brands for a Better Society Committee’s Corporate Social Responsibly Survey Report, (2) a report from the Enforcement Committee covering the ethics of pretexting in investigations in the United States, and (3) a report produced by the Harmonization of Trademark Law Practice Committee describing different local practices and examination standards relating to the Nice Classification. This is in addition, an article from the International Amicus Committee sheds light on INTA’s amicus brief in the now-settled U.S. Supreme Court case, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office v. Booking. Com BV.
Relating to legal analysis, this issue of the China Bulletin includes two features: One looks at declarations of excusable non-use and the other offers guidance on how to safeguard your brand when collecting consumer data. In addition, 11 Law & Practice articles provide updates on noteworthy court cases and legislative changes in 7 jurisdictions globally.
