Congratulate INTA’s Newest Rising Stars!
Published: June 5, 2024
At the end of each year, committee chairs, vice chairs, and staff liaisons are asked to identify Rising Stars within the Association based on those who have demonstrated their commitment to contributing to the intellectual property (IP) profession or INTA by exemplifying substantive IP or dynamic skills through achievements within or outside the Association (as speaker, author, project team contributor, committee contributor, etc.).
The latest group of Rising Stars met virtually in mid-May where CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo shared an “INTA 101” presentation, providing an overview of INTA’s priorities and primary activities. Then, 2024 President Dana Northcott, 2024 INTA Counsel Gustavo Giay, and former Board Member Axel Nordemann shared their journeys of personal and professional development within INTA.
Mr. Sanz de Acedo concluded the meeting by thanking the experienced leaders for sharing their INTA journeys and thanking the Rising Stars for all that they have already contributed to INTA. He encouraged them to stay involved and continue making a meaningful impact within our INTA community and beyond.
The virtual meeting was followed by an in-person reception at the 2024 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, (pictured below) where all individuals who have been identified as Rising Stars since this initiative was launched in 2022 were able to mingle with each other as well as with members of INTA’s Board of Directors.
Join us in congratulating our newest Rising Stars!
