Published: October 7, 2020
With the 2020 Annual Meeting & Leadership Meeting around the corner, INTA has a webinar to show you best practices for planning for and maximizing the virtual event. The insights come from INTA colleagues who have been making the most of other online experiences and who are familiar with the innovative features of the upcoming Meeting.
The event, Ready, Set, Go Virtual!, will be held on October 13, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm (EDT). It will be available to access on YouTube after the live session.
“We know that planning for a meeting, whether in person or virtual, can be a large task, and we’ve got you covered with tips and tricks from experienced INTA members,” said Tricia Montero, INTA’s Acting Director, Education. “This webinar will prepare you to be your virtual best when all aspects of the platform go live.”
With Ready, Set, Go Virtual!, INTA veterans Phil Cox of Business Development for IP Attorneys, Rudy Gaines of Creative Business Growth, both business development coaches and consultants, and a panel of in-house counsel will discuss best practices for a successful online experience. Other confirmed speakers include Deborah Hughes of Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Sergio Barragan of PepsiCo, Inc.
Learn what’s vital for the virtual Meeting, including:
- How to be more proactive—Make your calendar work for you
- What success looks like—Setting realistic goals you can achieve
- How to get meetings with registrants you don’t know
- The ins and outs of virtual networking
By providing strategies, the webinar will also help registrants utilize some of the Meeting’s key networking features, including the INTAconnect registrant directory and appointment system, the Hospitality area, Table Topics, and Speed Networking.
Mr. Cox and Mr. Gaines have a deep knowledge of INTA, have led Association committees, and have attended scores of events. The panel of speakers will answer questions, with time available to discuss specifics about the virtual event experience.
This free webinar will benefit both registrants and those who have not yet registered for the Annual Meeting & Leadership Meeting. Registration for the 2020 Annual Meeting & Leadership Meeting is open until October 30.
