Relax, Have Fun, and Network at Various Social Activities During the 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+
Published: September 22, 2021
A critical component of an INTA Annual Meeting is the social activities. They bring registrants together in an informal setting where they can unwind and have fun yet continue to grow their networks, meet with clients, colleagues, and friends while doing something a little different. The 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+, which takes place November 15–19, is no different. This year’s Social Networking activities in the virtual platform fall under three themes: experiences, tastings, and wellness. Most of the sessions have unlimited capacity and are offered at different times throughout the five days of the Meeting to encourage participation from members in different time zones around the world.
For example, under the wellness-themed activities, registrants could start, break up, or end their day with a ZUMBA dance fitness class, a wellness session, a fast-paced Body Bootcamp workout, or a Stretching & Alignment class. For the latter two, come prepared with a yoga mat and chair!
In planning the 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+, INTA considered the overall networking experience for registrants. As such, it has lined up Social Networking offerings that are exciting and interesting and that will help participants build relationships and create fond memories.
Returning this year are some crowd favorites from the 2020 Annual Meeting & Leadership Meeting, including wine tastings and ZUMBA classes.
In the Art of Painting session, participants can follow along with a professional artist and paint on their own canvas while sipping a favorite drink. During the Big City Scavenger Hunt, adventurers can virtually explore a city with other registrants, all from the comfort of their own homes! Using a browser-based app, participants will answer unusual trivia questions that lead them to famous landmarks in the United States. Participants will discover quirky art, majestic rooms, surprising objects, and more.
Those joining the Cheese Board & Charcuterie Class will learn how to build a board from scratch; the host will divulge tips and tricks on shopping for ingredients, thoughtful pairings, and snack board layout. And, during Chef Josh’s Cooking Class, he will share secrets for making fresh Sangria, Gambas al Ajillo, and Pan con Tomate.
Tastings may also pique attendees’ interest—and please their palate. The various tastings include craft beer, craft cider, and even olive oil!
And, as usual, the Meeting will draw to a close on November 19, at 5:30 pm (EST), with a celebration—the Grand Finale: DJ Party!
All sessions will be held live. Afterwards, keep the conversation going by exchanging your contact details via INTAconnect or meeting at the INTA Café. Learn more and sign up.
Registration for the 2021 Annual Meeting Virtual+ runs through October 29.
